After reading the poems due for class Thursday, I thought that some of them were a little confusing but some were very good. Metaphors to me was a bit confusing where I thought at first if it was an actual riddle or not and if we were trying to figure out what it was. That is a poem I would love to discuss with my group with. My favorite poem out of all of them was First Snow. I thought that it was very descriptive and I could easily relate to the scenery because I love nothing more than a nice snowfall and it is absolutely beautiful. I also enjoyed Diving into the Wreck because it showed descriptions and imaginations that the diver was going through, it was almost like a story. It seemed as though he was preparing to go into battle under sea and we would never see him again. Even though the ocean can be very dangerous, I thought the way he described it made me want to keep reading and I think that is why this poem was longer than the others.
