For the class on Thursday we had to read some interesting poems Some i liked and some that i didnt understand.  One poem that i liked was The Dog.  This poem was about a a dog the is on the side of the highway.  The dog is narrating the poem.  You can asumme that the dog is dead due to being hit by a car sence hes on a highway.  So the dog that is narrarting is just the dogs consence.  This dog absolutly loves humans but understands that to some people hes just a dog. The poet does a fantastic job of putting the reader in the dogs shoes by telling the thoughts clearly that the dead dog is having.  Haveing the poem in the dogs point of view is very helpful also.
