Taylor Sjoberg Blog #5

This week having a peer edit review of our analysis paper helped a lot. Reading our papers out loud and getting feed back from our partners helped ideally. I found this method useful because when your typing away at your computer your writing always sounds correct but when reading it aloud and hearing yourself say it you can make corrections and adjustments based off what you hear and what your partner hears. Luckily, my partner and I were writing about the same story "The Lottery" and could relate what we were writing about and also gave each other good ideas of what else we wanted to add. My goals after the peer review was to create a stronger thesis and overall opening paragraph to really help the reader understand what I am writing about. This is why I felt that the peer edit review was helpful.
