Die soon.", which honestly sometimes scares me for obvious reasons.
The one I really like was "Metaphors" by Sylvia Plath. At first i though this poem was a cruel trick of a poem just to keep the reader guessing on what it was about. So I read it a second time, and again I though it was just a poem meant to confuse the reader. So finally I caved in and had to look it up online and read that it was about pregnancy. And then I realized that this poem makes plenty of sense. Every single line makes sense, because she describes herself as yeast rising, a watermelon with two legs, and even saying she has boarded a train and theres no turning back. All finally make sense once you realize that it's about being pregnant. Now as I keep reading it, while writing this blog, I am realizing that i really do enjoy this poem.
So for this week those were the two that I connected with and thoroughly enjoyed and once again I know that as long as we keep reading poems I will be an entertained student in this class.
