Metamorphosis

I can easily say that this has been one of the most interesting and strange short stories that I ever read. It was weird in a way that the plot was completely different but it also kept me wanting to read. Every time I look at a title, I try and guess to see what the story is going to be about. Metamorphosis to me sounds like almost a history lesson how ape turned into a man. But this story caught me completely off guard. I would never have even come close to think that this story was about a man who changed from a human to a large bug. After reading every couple of paragraphs, I wanted to go back and go over a few sentences that I did not really understand. Doing that, I was able to find more into the story rather than a man turning into a bug. I think that he doesnt really realize how important he is to his family and how much he supports them, and without him, they are basically nothing. It was pretty sad at first how it seemed like Gregor was living a bad life with a shitty job and when he got fired, he just hit rock bottom.

After reading part one of the story, it defiantly confused me a little bit and one reason for that is because I didnt know the ending. But now I read the second part of the story, I am excited to talk about it with my group and help each other out because I know that I have some questions for them.
