I love english!! Ryan Green

Since the last blog, we have been revising our essays, and at this point we are turning in our final draft for our first essay. In between we have been been reading and discussing poems. Poems are really interesting, in my opinionl. While many people think that a poems only have one meaning, I think that the meaning of the poem comes from the reader. So, their can be many meanings to the poem. Poems can be relaxing, happy, sad, and make you frustrated when you dont know whats going on. My favorite poem that we have read so far was Dulce et Decorum Est written by Wilfred Owen. The poem is written by a World War I Vet about one of his experiences during battle. I liked this poem a lot because it was easier for me to understand. Also, the imagery and the setting that the poem had was excellent.
