Reading poems is new to me and I’m still trying to get a hang of it but after I read it a few time I understand them such as the case of the poem “La Belle Dame sans Merci” by Keats. The first time I read it I thought it was about a knight who falls in love with a beautiful woman but after I read it again in class I realized the woman in the story represented something much more than a pretty girl but possible death. These hidden meanings of poems are what I like about them.
